“We are a technology organization. We are interested in promoting digital skills, programming, and web technologies. So, many young people come because of this part, and it’s one of our main pillars. Obviously, we are in the era of technology and all young people have a basic knowledge and even more, but in some cases we see that they want to learn more than what they do at University, than they do in their studies and that they may want to do new creative things. That’s why we are also open with our volunteer team, we do a lot of actions, we listen, we listen carefully to what they want, what they ask for so to design things, to do workshops, open events for the public, like Europe Code Week, where last year we saw that 250-300 people, over-18s, came—young people who mostly wanted to learn about digital skills and programming and (…) we also try to give more tools to these people, to learn something new or to create something through us that will give them even more tools for the future.”
