“Despite the fact that (the NGOs) mainly come for the funding proposal, we work with them on subjects that are not 100% relevant to the proposal, throughout this four-month period; (we focus on) more general issues (which form part of) the core of the organizations. (For example) if they have an organizational chart, if they have a volunteer management system, if they have volunteers, if they have a marketing plan that can support them. Because successful funding is not just a proposal, you do not need just that, you need (also) some other things to support it.”
